My Account. At your option, you may register under "My Account" for a Smash Rewards account, allowing you to subscribe to the targeted offers of the Merchants you select on the Site ("Selected Merchants"), as well as to get the benefit of specials or programs offered only to registered users of the Site. As part of registration, we collect your mobile phone number, carrier, and your personal PIN number. We use this information to send you mobile coupons, to communicate with you regarding your account, and to allow access to the Site. You may also optionally provide your name, gender, year of birth, and zip code, all of which are optional and are used by Smash Rewards and your Selected Merchants to improve the Service and to better target offers to you. We indicate at the time of collection which information is mandatory and which information is optional to provide. You may optionally provide us with your e-mail address, and we use this information to occasionally notify you about important changes to the Web Site, new products, new services, and special offers we think you'll find valuable. If you would rather not receive this information, either do not provide your e-mail address or take the actions stated below under "Your Choices". Make sure to notify us for each account or e-mail address you have left with us.
Forwarding. Registered users may forward coupons to others by providing the third party's mobile phone number. This information is used by Smash Rewards only to forward the selected mobile coupon to the third party and for no other purpose. Users who abuse this function of the Site (determined in our discretion) shall be subject to Account termination and further legal action as appropriate.
Coupons or Offers. Users who have not registered for an account may provide us with their mobile phone number and carrier in order to receive single coupons from our Merchants. This information is used to send the selected mobile coupon and for no other purpose.
Contact Us. You may contact us by e-mail with your questions, ideas and/or concerns. We use the information we collect in this case to answer the e-mail we receive, and such e-mail addresses are not used for any other purpose.
Merchants. Information submitted on the Site by prospective Merchants will be used in order to contact such Merchant and to respond to the Merchant's queries, as applicable.
General Uses. We may also use your personal information internally to customize your experience with our Site, help us develop new products and services, verify your identity, collect debts owed to us, or investigate or settle inquiries or disputes, and for other legally required or permissible purposes.

Suggestions, materials, or other intellectual property sent or transmitted to us via our Site are governed by the separate terms applicable to such materials identified at the time of submission (if any). If no such terms are identified, all such items shall be deemed to be non-confidential, and we shall have no obligation of any kind with respect to such items and shall be free to use and distribute them to others without limitation, including, but not limited to developing and marketing products incorporating them.
Our Site is not intended for use by children under 13. We ask that children under the age of 13 do not use our Site and do not submit any personal information to us.
